Up.
Guests already looking ahead to 2027 are beginning to see what Disney Resort hotel stays could cost next year, and some of the numbers are enough to cause sticker shock.
This isn’t necessarily a massive overnight price hike. Instead, it’s another example of the gradual increases Disney guests have watched pile up over the years.
And perhaps no resort demonstrates that better than Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
During one March 2027 week recently shared online, a standard room at Pop Century was listed at $315 per night.
Yes, that’s Pop Century — a Value Resort — for well over $300 per night.
Disney World Resort Prices Are Climbing Again
Disney Clips Guy recently shared several future Walt Disney World Resort prices on X, pointing out just how expensive some stays are becoming.
“There seem to be some big resort price increase in 2027!” the account wrote, specifically pointing toward March pricing and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The prices shared for that period included:
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort: $315
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort: $406
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort: $395
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn: $925
Those prices won’t apply every night of 2027. Walt Disney World uses date-based hotel pricing, meaning rates can change considerably depending on when guests visit.

Still, the numbers provide another look at where Disney Resort hotel pricing is heading.
And when guests start multiplying those nightly prices across an entire vacation, even relatively small increases can make a big difference.
Pop Century at More Than $300 Is Hard To Ignore
Pop Century may be the most eye-catching resort on the list.
Disney categorizes Pop Century as a Value Resort. It’s traditionally been one of the places guests could stay when they wanted Disney transportation and on-site benefits without paying Moderate or Deluxe Resort prices.
Longtime Disney World visitors will remember an entirely different pricing environment.
There was a time when staying at Pop Century for less than $100 per night wasn’t particularly unusual.
Those days are long gone.
Seeing a standard Pop Century room listed at $315 changes the conversation surrounding what a “Value Resort” actually means.
Value is Disney’s hotel category rather than a promise that every room will be inexpensive. Even so, seeing a standard Pop Century room cross $300 is going to be difficult for some longtime guests to swallow.
A five-night stay at $315 per night would cost $1,575 just for the hotel room, before considering park tickets, Lightning Lane purchases, food, transportation to Orlando, souvenirs, and other vacation expenses.
For families staying seven nights, that same nightly price works out to $2,205.
And we’re still talking about the Value Resort category.
Moderate Resorts Aren’t Far Behind
The Moderate Resort category tells a similar story.
The March prices shared online put Port Orleans at $406 and Coronado Springs at $395.
Coronado Springs is particularly interesting because it has increasingly occupied an unusual position within Disney World’s hotel lineup.
Disney still categorizes the property as a Moderate Resort, but a standard rate approaching $400 per night certainly doesn’t feel like the middle ground that some guests might expect from that category.
Port Orleans — Riverside is even more during this period.
At $406 for the period shared, guests could potentially spend more than $2,800 on the hotel alone during a seven-night vacation.
A few years ago, seeing a Moderate Resort above $400 per night would have caught plenty of attention. Now, those kinds of prices are becoming increasingly familiar during more expensive travel periods.
That’s exactly why these increases matter.
Disney doesn’t necessarily need to raise a hotel room by $100 overnight for guests to feel the difference. Smaller increases stacked year after year can eventually produce a much larger gap between what families remember paying and what they’re being asked to pay today.
BoardWalk Shows How Expensive Deluxe Stays Can Get
Then there’s Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
The shared March rate of $925 per night puts the cost of a Deluxe Resort vacation into an entirely different category.
At that price, a seven-night hotel stay would reach $6,475 before adding anything else to the vacation.
Of course, Deluxe Resorts come with advantages that Disney’s cheaper properties don’t necessarily offer.
BoardWalk gives guests convenient access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests can walk to both parks, which can be a major perk during a busy vacation.
Deluxe Resort guests can also receive additional benefits, including Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights.
Meanwhile, Disney Resort guests generally receive perks such as complimentary Disney transportation and Early Theme Park Entry.
Those benefits certainly have value.
The question is how much guests are willing to pay for them.
When a hotel room starts approaching $1,000 per night, some families may begin looking at nearby alternatives instead.
Discounts Could Make These Prices Look Very Different
There’s an important piece of context here.
The prices guests see when Disney releases future hotel availability aren’t necessarily what everyone will ultimately pay.
Disney routinely releases resort promotions and discounts that can reduce room prices considerably. Annual Passholders, Florida residents, and other guests can sometimes find additional offers depending on the season.
That could eventually make some 2027 stays much more affordable.
However, guests can’t assume those discounts will appear for their exact hotel, room category, or travel dates.
That’s why the standard rate still matters.
A family planning a vacation can’t necessarily build its entire budget around a discount Disney hasn’t announced. Guests may book at the regular rate and then hope that a better promotion becomes available later.
Sometimes that strategy works.
Sometimes it doesn’t.
Even when Disney does release discounts, the most desirable hotels and room categories may have limited availability.
It’s the Gradual Increase That Matters
None of these prices necessarily represents some unprecedented overnight increase.
That’s worth making clear.
Disney World hotel rooms were already expensive, particularly during busy periods. Guests have seen $300 Value Resort nights and extremely expensive Deluxe Resort stays before.
What the 2027 pricing does show is the continuation of a much larger trend.
Disney World vacations keep getting more expensive.
A few dollars here and another increase there might not seem particularly alarming. Stretch that pattern across five, 10, or 15 years, however, and the difference becomes impossible to miss.
Pop Century is probably the easiest example.
Longtime guests can remember booking rooms there for less than $100 per night. Now we’re discussing 2027 dates when a standard room can cost more than three times that amount.
The resort hasn’t suddenly moved into Disney’s Moderate category.
It’s still a Value Resort.
The definition of “value” at Walt Disney World has simply changed.
2027 Could Be an Expensive Year To Visit Disney World
The timing is also noteworthy because 2027 is shaping up to be an important year for Walt Disney World.
Disney has several projects planned around the resort, giving fans plenty of reasons to consider another vacation.
That potential demand makes resort pricing something worth watching closely.
Guests who want to stay on property will still have reasons to do so. Transportation, proximity to the parks, Early Theme Park Entry, and other resort benefits can make a Disney hotel particularly convenient.
For many families, staying inside the Disney bubble is also part of the vacation itself.
But convenience comes with a price.
A $315 Pop Century room isn’t going to be the standard price every night of the year. A $925 BoardWalk room doesn’t mean every Deluxe stay will cost nearly $1,000 per night, either.
Dates, room categories, and eventual discounts will make a major difference.
Still, the direction is difficult to miss.
Disney World Resort hotel prices continue to creep higher, and 2027 is providing another reminder that families may need to budget more than ever if staying on Disney property remains an important part of their vacation.
