The Disney vacation destination has not publicly acknowledged the removal or shared when (or if) the character will return.
The change comes just weeks after Disneyland Resort quietly closed Pixie Hollow, the meet-and-greet location for Peter Pan’s dearest friend, Tinker Bell. However, the character encounter at Disneyland Park has since reopened in modified form as refurbishment efforts continue.
Peter Pan Removed From Disneyland Park
As thousands of social media users argue over stories about an adult Southern California Disney park guest with a Peter Pan obsession, another Disney destination across the globe inexplicably removed the character from its entertainment lineup.
On Monday, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared photos from Disney Stars on Parade at Disneyland Paris Resort, revealing that the crescent moon-shaped Peter Pan (1953) float failed to appear in its usual spot before the replica of Skull Rock featuring Captain Hook and Smee.

The moon-shaped float debuted at Disneyland Park (Paris) alongside the rest of Disney Stars on Parade in March 2017. It has some intricate mechanisms, particularly the swinging ship-shaped platform that Peter Pan and another Lost Boy stand on.
Disneyland Paris Resort has not acknowledged the disappearance of the Peter Pan float from Disney Stars on Parade. It’s unclear whether this is a permanent change to the procession lineup or a temporary removal for necessary maintenance. Disney Stars on Parade continues to perform once a day at Disneyland Park (Paris).
For now, European theme park guests can still encounter the famous Lost Boy on the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction in Fantasyland, or find the character roaming with Wendy around Disneyland Park.
