Tinker Bell Meet-and-Greet Indefinitely Closes on August 4
On July 27, Disneyland Resort updated the official website for the Pixie Hollow meet-and-greet space to reflect that it will close for refurbishment on August 4, 2026. Through August 3, the Tinker Bell character encounter will operate during its normal daily hours: from 8:15 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Disneyland Resort operational calendar currently runs through September 7, and no reopening date for Meet Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow is listed through that date. Disney has not addressed the reason for the closure of the meet-and-greet space, which is located in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park between Matterhorn Bobsleds and Astro Orbiter next to Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Pixie Hollow was closed for nine months, from 2024 to 2025, for an extended reimagining project. Disneyland Resort transformed a second meet-and-greet space in the area, formerly home to some of Tinker Bell’s other magical friends, into an extended queue for the main Tinker Bell meet-and-greet. Other fairies have not met in Pixie Hollow for some time.
Disney is currently developing a live-action drama series starring the iconic character called Tink. The show will stream exclusively on Disney+, and a release date has not been announced. Pixie Hollow may be closing for some kind of tie-in related to that show, but Disneyland Resort has not confirmed this.
Disneyland Resort hasn’t said whether Tinker Bell will move to a temporary meet-and-greet location during the upcoming closure to take photos and sign autographs for Disneyland Park guests.
