The attached Google Maps screenshot shows a pin at an intersection on World Drive, but that’s unlikely to be where the fire occurred. This location is one that Walt Disney World Resort and local authorities often use to track emergency responses in the Magic Kingdom Park/Disney’s Contemporary Resort area.

At this time, it’s unclear exactly where the fire occurred and whether firefighters managed to put it out by the time this article was published. Inside the Magic was unable to find any social media reports from Walt Disney World Resort guests about the fire.
What Walt Disney World Resort Guests Should Know
According to the My Disney Experience app, the only Magic Kingdom Park attraction experiencing unexpected downtime on Monday afternoon was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. However, it’s impossible to say whether that is related to the fire alert issued by local law enforcement.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort on July 8 can continue with their itineraries, but should be ready to follow any instructions from Disney cast members and local authorities, and avoid any areas impacted by the fire.
