Credit: DisneyAfter several days of unprecedented disruption, Disneyland Paris is hoping to emerge from one of the most challenging operational periods in its recent history.
An intense heatwave sweeping across France forced the resort to suspend numerous outdoor attractions for multiple consecutive days while the country remained under its highest-level weather alert. Outdoor entertainment was scaled back, select dining locations temporarily closed, and even the park’s nighttime spectacular was modified without pyrotechnics due to wildfire concerns and government restrictions.
Despite the unusual circumstances, Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World have remained open, with guests shifting toward indoor attractions and air-conditioned experiences as operations continue to adapt to the extreme conditions.
The disruption comes at an otherwise transformative moment for Disneyland Paris. Earlier this year, the resort completed one of the most ambitious projects in its history with the debut of Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second gate that introduced Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and the highly anticipated World of Frozen. The expansion has ushered in a new era for the French resort, giving guests an entirely new kingdom to explore while laying the foundation for future additions.
Now, as guests hope normal operations will gradually return this summer, Disneyland Paris is already looking ahead to the holiday season. The resort has begun teasing its 2026 Christmas celebrations, including the first-ever festive offerings inside World of Frozen, where guests will be able to experience Arendelle decorated for the holidays alongside the return of seasonal entertainment across the resort.
Confirming on social media, Disneyland Paris has shared that the World of Frozen–the anchor area of the new Disney Adventure World park–will partake in the holiday festivities this Christmas season.

Each holiday season, Disneyland Paris transforms into a festive destination with the return of Disney Enchanted Christmas, filling Disneyland Park with sparkling decorations, seasonal entertainment, and beloved Disney characters dressed in their holiday best.
Guests can experience festive parades, special character encounters, themed food and merchandise, and a magical winter atmosphere stretching from Main Street, U.S.A. to Sleeping Beauty Castle. For the 2026 season, the celebration also offers visitors the chance to enjoy the recently opened World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World, adding another major draw to the resort’s annual Christmas festivities.
Running from November 7, 2026, through January 6, 2027, Disney Enchanted Christmas remains one of Disneyland Paris’ signature seasonal events, combining classic holiday traditions with immersive Disney storytelling.
