The countdown to one of the most anticipated family experiences Walt Disney World has launched in recent memory is now measured in days. Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26, part of the resort’s Cool Kids’ Summer programming that runs through the summer months, and the combination of a beloved children’s franchise, character appearances, interactive games, and an exclusive virtual queue access structure has been generating significant anticipation from families with young children since the experience was first announced.

Disney has now posted the official operating hours for Bluey’s Wild World, and there is a specific detail within those hours that every family planning a visit needs to factor into their day before they arrive at Animal Kingdom.

The experience will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on opening day, Tuesday, May 26, and those hours apply to every date currently on the calendar through July 18. The closing time of 3:45 p.m. is the detail that matters most for planning purposes, because it means Bluey’s Wild World closes earlier than the rest of Disney’s Animal Kingdom on any given day. Families planning their visit around this experience need to treat the 3:45 p.m. closing time as a hard deadline and build their day accordingly, which, in practical terms, means prioritizing the virtual queue as early as possible and factoring in the travel time to reach Conservation Station before planning anything else for the day.

The Virtual Queue Structure and Why It Matters

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station operates exclusively on a virtual queue system during the initial opening period. A standby line will not be available. Guests cannot walk up to the experience and wait in a traditional line. Access requires a boarding group requested through the My Disney Experience app, and each guest may only join the virtual queue once per day.

The first virtual queue distribution opens at 7 a.m. on each day the experience operates. The critical detail in that window is that guests do not need to be physically inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom to request a boarding group at 7 a.m. You can be at your hotel, at home, in the car on the way to the park, or anywhere else with access to the My Disney Experience app when the 7 a.m. window opens. Getting a boarding group at 7 a.m. is the single most important action a family can take to ensure they experience Bluey’s Wild World during their park visit.

Once a boarding group is assigned and called, guests reach Conservation Station by boarding the Wildlife Express Train, which departs from the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom near Harambe Market. The train ride is part of the journey to the experience, and the travel time to and from Conservation Station must be factored into any scheduling around the 3:45 p.m. closing time. Guests who receive a late boarding group call and are cutting close to 3:45 p.m. should account for the train ride in their calculation of whether they can reach the experience before it closes.

What the Experience Actually Includes

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is a playful and immersive experience built around the characters and games from the beloved Australian animated series. Guests can laugh, dance, and play games that unfold in unpredictable, hilarious ways alongside Bluey and Bingo. The specific games from the show that are part of the experience include Keepy Uppy and Magic Asparagus, both of which have become iconic among fans of the series for the way they capture the Heeler family’s imaginative, chaotic energy as they play together.

Character appearances from Bluey and Bingo are part of the experience, giving families the opportunity to interact with the show’s central characters in a setting built entirely around the world they inhabit. The experience is designed for younger guests in a way that puts them genuinely at the center of the action rather than positioning them as passive observers, which reflects both the design philosophy behind Bluey as a television series and the approach Disney has taken with this installation at Conservation Station.

How to Get There

Conservation Station is not directly accessible from the main paths of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Wildlife Express Train is the only way to reach it, and the train departs from near Harambe Market in the Africa section of the park. For guests who have not been to Conservation Station before, building in time for the train ride in both directions is essential when planning around the experience’s operating hours and the virtual queue call time.

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is part of Walt Disney World’s Cool Kids’ Summer programming alongside other seasonal experiences opening May 26 at the resort. The operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. are confirmed on the Disney World website through July 18. The virtual queue opens at 7 a.m. daily through the My Disney Experience app.

For families with Bluey fans heading to Animal Kingdom this summer, the plan is straightforward. Set the alarm, open the app at 7 a.m., get the boarding group, and know where the Wildlife Express Train departs from before you need it.
