Another refurbishment project has led to the closure of yet another castle at Disneyland Paris Resort. The news comes just days after the European Disney park installed construction walls around the entire Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge at Disneyland Park.

Earlier this week, plywood barriers went up around the bridge to Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park (Paris). X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport recently shared these photos of the current state of the Disney Park icon:

🔧 The Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge refurbishment includes walls on the front and inside the Castle, with the walkthrough remaining open. Water levels are lower in the moat, and the inflatable projection screen is permanently installed in the doorway:

Guests can still access the castle walkthrough and La Tanière du Dragon (“The Lair of the Dragon”), but they must use alternate pathways to reach them.

Disneyland Paris Resort has confirmed that the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge refurbishment is expected to continue through late September 2026. Both aforementioned attractions are expected to remain open for the entire duration of the project.

Now, another Disneyland Park castle is undergoing refurbishment. As of May 6, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, a walkthrough attraction in Fantasyland, is now closed for refurbishment. This includes the Queen of Hearts Castle building.

🔧 Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is now closed for refurbishment until July 3, with work already started on the Queen of Hearts Castle. It’s the summer of Castle refurbishments 😬

According to Disneyland Paris Resort’s website, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth will remain closed through July 3, 2026. However, the European Disney park hasn’t shared its plans for the attraction beyond a basic refurbishment.

Disneyland Park guests are unlikely to notice any significant changes to Alice’s Curious Labyrinth when it reopens on July 4, 2026.
