The second annual Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland is set for March 26, expanding beyond last year’s event to include both theme parks and the Downtown Disney District. This special one-day celebration features entertainment, themed food and drinks, and the Indianapolis Clowns to enhance the experience compared to the inaugural event in 2025. The partnership reflects Disney’s confidence, following the first event, which generated significant enthusiasm and social media buzz. This trend of professional sports teams collaborating with Disney aims to create unique experiences that blend athletics and entertainment, highlighting the Savannah Bananas’ focus on fan engagement and spectacle over traditional competition.
The Disneyland Park Experiences
At Disneyland Park, the team will offer a special performance in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at 10 a.m. featuring singing, dancing, and appearances by Mickey Mouse and some of his pals, creating a centerpiece experience that takes advantage of one of Disney’s most iconic locations while showcasing the choreographed entertainment and energy that defines Savannah Bananas appearances. Two hours later at 12:30 p.m. the Savannah Bananas Cavalcade will make its way through Disneyland Park where select players will shimmy, shake, and strut their way through the park following the traditional parade route, allowing guests throughout Disneyland to encounter the Savannah Bananas without needing to position themselves at specific performance locations and making the team’s presence feel integrated throughout the park rather than confined to a single viewing area.
The parade route appearance creates opportunities for spontaneous encounters and photo moments as players interact with guests along the route, while the cavalcade format allows more guests to participate in the Savannah Bananas experience than stationary performances, which require guests to arrive early and secure viewing positions. The 10 a.m. The Sleeping Beauty Castle performance and the 12:30 p.m. cavalcade create two distinct opportunities to experience the team, separated by enough time that guests can participate in both events without conflicts.

The Disney California Adventure Show
At Disney California Adventure, a unique show in the World of Color viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park will take place at 1:30 p.m., featuring surprises and audience engagement in line with Banana Ball’s reputation. This venue offers a large space for significant crowds and visually captivating moments, even for a daytime performance. The 1:30 p.m. timing allows Park Hopper ticket holders to enjoy the 12:30 p.m. Disneyland cavalcade before heading to California Adventure. Guests with one-park tickets can also enjoy the Savannah Bananas performances without needing to park hop.
The Meet and Greet Experience at Disneyland
Fans will be able to meet with select Savannah Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns players in the Hyperion Theater Courtyard, but they will need a virtual queue confirmation and wristband to participate, which represents a more structured approach to player interactions than the spontaneous encounters possible during the cavalcade. Simply request to join the virtual queue through the Disneyland app at 9:00 a.m. PT. Guests must have a Disney California Adventure park theme park reservation with a one-park ticket or a Park Hopper ticket to join the virtual queue.
Guests will be assigned a boarding group when joining a queue, and Disney will send push notifications when groups are called, using the same virtual queue system used for popular attractions like WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Once your group is called, scan your ticket or entry code to pick up your wristband, then return to the location when the greeting opportunities begin at 2:15 p.m. to exchange high-fives and snap photos with select players, creating more intimate interaction opportunities than the performances and cavalcade provide.

The virtual queue requirement manages crowd flow, prevents overwhelming congestion at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard, and ensures that guests who secure boarding groups have guaranteed opportunities to meet players rather than waiting in standby lines of unknown duration. The 9:00 a.m. virtual queue opening time means guests should plan to join immediately when the queue opens, as boarding groups will likely fill quickly given the popularity of the Savannah Bananas.
The Downtown Disney District Activities
There will also be plenty of fun near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage all day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a merchandise pop-up location featuring an absolutely “a-peeling” variety of Savannah Bananas merchandise, including T-shirts, hats, novelties, and gift items for fans of all ages. Included among those items is a Savannah Bananas Disney tee and a collectible lapel pin created specially for this event, representing exclusive merchandise available only during Savannah Bananas Day and likely creating collectibles that fans will want to purchase as souvenirs of the unique collaboration between Disney and the Savannah Bananas.
To celebrate the baseball lovers in your life, a Home Run Pop-Up Card is available for purchase at Lovepop through March 31, extending the merchandise availability beyond just the March 26 event date. Adding even more fun to the district, a DJ will be playing upbeat jams at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., creating a festival atmosphere in the district that complements the performances happening inside the theme parks.

The Downtown Disney activities from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. provide all-day entertainment and shopping opportunities for guests who may not have theme park tickets but still want to participate in Savannah Bananas Day, with the merchandise pop-up and DJ entertainment accessible without park admission, creating an inclusive experience that extends the Savannah Bananas presence beyond just ticketed park guests.
The Banana-Themed Food and Beverages at Disneyland
A variety of banana-flavored treats will be available across the Disneyland Resort, with many items available year-round beyond just the special event date, creating ongoing banana-themed menu options that extend the Savannah Bananas partnership beyond the single day. Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree in Bayou Country at Disneyland will serve banana pudding featuring bananas, whipped cream, crushed wafer cookies, dulce de leche, and toffee available through mobile order.

Wine Country Trattoria in Performance Corridor at California Adventure will offer a banana brûlée tart consisting of a vanilla tart with brûléed bananas topped with banana-coconut whipped cream, plus a frozen banana mudslide cocktail made with vanilla vodka, Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, banana liqueur, and half and half, with reservations being highly recommended. Cappuccino Cart in San Fransokyo Square at California Adventure will offer banana cold foam as an add-on to any drink for an additional fee, while select outdoor vending carts throughout both parks will sell frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, and fruit carts at various locations will offer whole bananas.
About Banana Ball
The Savannah Bananas known as “The Greatest Show in Sports” operate within the Banana Ball Championship League traveling across the country to play a unique form of baseball featuring choreographed in-game dancing, epic scoring celebrations, and hilarious antics that prioritize entertainment alongside athletic competition. Other teams in the league include the Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts, and Indianapolis Clowns which is one of the newest teams joining the Savannah Bananas for the Disneyland event.
Banana Ball implements unconventional rules that accelerate game pace and increase entertainment value, including that a fan catching a foul ball counts as an out, and players can attempt to steal first base, creating situations impossible in traditional baseball and generating crowd engagement and unpredictable moments.
