On Sunday morning, law enforcement responded to two separate reports of a fire at Disney Springs, Walt Disney World Resort‘s shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. Here’s everything we know about the two incidents.
First Fire at Disney Springs

Law enforcement first responded to Disney Springs shortly after 4:00 a.m., before the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex opened to Walt Disney World Resort guests. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the details of the call on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps screenshot attached to the post shows a pin at the center of Disney Springs. However, this does not necessarily correspond to the emergency’s location. Emergency calls at Walt Disney World Resort are often logged at centralized locations rather than the exact area of the response.
Walt Disney World Resort did not issue any public statements about the reported fire at Disney Springs in the early morning hours of March 15. It’s unknown whether there was any lasting damage. However, Disney Springs opened as scheduled on Sunday, with seemingly no closures or lasting effects from the overnight incident.
Second Call at 10:30 a.m.

Hours later, shortly after 10:30 a.m., @WDWActiveCrime reported another fire alert at Disney Springs. Once again, the attached Google Maps screenshot may not correspond exactly to the emergency response location.

Once again, Walt Disney World Resort did not issue a public response to the reported fire at Disney Springs on Sunday morning, and property damage was not confirmed. The My Disney Experience app indicates that everything at the lifestyle complex is operating normally, with no closures or other impacts from the reported fire.
What Guests Need to Know

Walt Disney World Resort guests shouldn’t expect any closures or delays following the two reported fires at Disney Springs on Sunday morning. However, guests who encounter law enforcement activity during their Disney Parks vacations should follow any verbal or posted instructions from authorities and avoid any barricaded areas.
