On Christmas Eve, an unusual 911 call prompted law enforcement officers to respond to Disney Springs, Walt Disney World Resort’s outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The emergency response came during the busiest time of the year for the Central Florida Disney parks, especially as holiday shoppers spent their final hours searching for the perfect last-minute gifts.

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on December 24, law enforcement responded to a “Alarm Vehicle” call at Disney Springs. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, known for monitoring and sharing scanner activity at Walt Disney World Resort, shared the news in a post:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 12/24/25 3:13 PM
🚨: Alarm Vehicle at 📍: Disney Springs

Emergency calls at Walt Disney World are routed to centralized locations within the theme park and resort areas, so the spot pinpointed on the Google Maps screenshot doesn’t correspond to the exact area of the law enforcement response. Disney Springs has multiple free guest parking garages, so the vehicle alarm call could be in any of them.

Neither law enforcement nor Walt Disney World Resort has shared any further information about this emergency response. It’s unlikely that an official police report will be published for this incident if no criminal, suspicious, or disruptive behavior was involved. However, Inside the Magic will publish any significant updates that emerge.

The short answer: no. This emergency response at Disney Springs on Christmas Eve is unlikely to impact your ongoing Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs are operating normally.

The only guests affected were those who couldn’t escape the blaring alarm!
