On Wednesday, Disneyland Resort announced that the closure of a popular dining location within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has been extended through early 2026. The restaurant temporarily shut down in April and was initially scheduled to reopen in the fall of 2025.
In January 2025, Disneyland Resort revealed several updates planned for its three Disney Resort hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel.
In July, a new premier club-level concierge lounge called the High Key Club debuted at the Disneyland Hotel–double the size of the former E-Ticket Club. Around the same time, Pixar Place Hotel (the former Paradise Pier Hotel) debuted two new suite types inspired by Coco (2017) and The Incredibles (2004).

Some of the biggest updates were planned for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. Disneyland Resort announced plans to add a second, two-story club-level lounge in addition to the existing Veranda concierge lounge. The new club-level lounge is expected to open in 2026.
Additionally, Disneyland Resort shared that Napa Rose would close in April for a refreshed design blending Craftsman style with modern Californian luxury. Highlights include a chandelier inspired by Mission grapevines, an expanded exhibition kitchen with more room for guests to watch the chefs at work, and a refreshed outdoor patio with more seating and two new fireplaces.
The flagship restaurant of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa also promised to retain some fan-favorite menu items while introducing new items.

When Disneyland Resort announced its plans for the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Southern California vacation destination said Napa Rose would reopen in the fall of 2025. However, according to theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) on X (formerly known as Twitter), the closure has officially been extended to early 2026:
