On Monday, June 23, Disneyland Park (Paris) hit capacity after thousands of guests flocked to the European Disney Resort. According to an Inside the Magic reporter on the scene, Disney started refusing entry at around 8:00 p.m. local time as crowds overwhelmed Main Street, U.S.A., and other areas of the park.

This weekend, Paris was full of tourists attending free music performances as part of Fête de la Musique (World Music Day) on June 21. Disneyland Paris Resort is celebrating its own version of the holiday with the first-ever Disney Music Festival event, which is taking over Disneyland Park from April 21 to September 7, 2025.
The Disney Music Festival includes four live concerts and eight “musical encounters” with Walt Disney Animation and Pixar characters. Music pop-ups around Discoveryland, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Main Street, U.S.A., cover various genres, including classical, pop, rock, folk, and electronic.
Like any Disney Park event, the Disney Music Festival also includes exclusive event merchandise and themed food and beverages.
According to an Inside the Magic team member on the ground at Disneyland Park, crowds appeared to have been arriving for The Grand Orchestra Finale, the final nightly performance on Main Street, U.S.A.
It seemed that visitors in town for Fête de la Musique arrived at Disneyland Paris Resort just in time to see the most elaborate show of the day. The finale brings together nearly 90 artists performing a medley of songs guests may have heard during other performances throughout their day at Disneyland Park.

Of course, precisely what caused Disneyland Park (Paris) to hit capacity on Monday evening is unclear. The Disney park closes at 10:40 p.m. local time, and it’s unlikely that security will allow any more crowds to enter before it shuts down.
Disneyland Paris Resort encourages guests to purchase date-based tickets in advance to guarantee entry to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park on their preferred dates.
