Disney World just made a significant update to its dining reservation system, making it much easier for guests to find and book the restaurant reservation they want for their trip. This new system allows guests to search by date, using Disney World’s reservation calendar. Here’s what’s changed:

Reservation Updates:
The new system allows guests to search for availability by restaurant using Disney World’s reservation calendar. Guests can search by individual restaurant, with a green dot indicating availability and grey shading showing that there are no tables available.
The new system also allows guests to pick a time range for their dining reservation rather than a time window, as in the previous system. This also shows all available tables during a specific time frame, allowing guests to choose any time during their desired range.

Disney World also allows guests to search for a specific date range. So, if guests want to dine at a particular restaurant during their stay, this feature will enable them to search for that date range for that restaurant.
The final update to the dining reservation system is a more obvious filtering system that makes it much easier for guests to find restaurants in specific parks, Disney Springs, and hotels.
These updates are available to guests on Disney World’s website and through the MyDisneyExperience app.

Making Dining Reservations
While Disney World updated its dining reservation search system, some of the dining reservation rules remain in effect. Guests staying at a Disney World Resort hotel can book their dining reservations 60 days in advance for the entirety of their stay. That rule only applies to guests staying for 10 days or less at the Disney Resort hotel.
Guests staying off property can book their dining reservations 60 days in advance, but only one day at a time. The reservation window opens at 6 a.m., with some of Disney World’s most popular restaurants filling up quickly.

So, if you’re looking for reservations at Cinderella’s Royal Table, 1600 Park Fare, Space 220, or Le Cellier Steakhouse, get up early and make those reservations. At least now, finding what you’re looking for will be easier.
