When visiting Walt Disney World, one of the fun things to do is see all the shows at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Guests can enjoy activities like Animal Encounters at Animal Kingdom, listen to the Voices of Liberty at EPCOT, watch the Dapper Dans at the Magic Kingdom, and watch Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

And those are only a small portion of the shows and experiences that are available at The Most Magical Place On Earth! If you include the character performers and the nighttime spectaculars, the options seem endless!

During certain events, like EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts and International Festival of the Holidays, celebrities will visit the Central Florida theme park to participate in events like Disney on Broadway and the Candlelight Processional.

However, celebrities aren’t known to just randomly put on shows at locations around Walt Disney World, like the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom.

Unfortunately, for one major ticketing website, someone seemed to think they did.

X (formerly Twitter) user Tharin White shared an image of a promotional tweet from StubHub, advertising a Jerry Seinfeld performance that was set to take place at the Walt Disney Theater, located at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The theater is located in Orlando, and is only about 15 miles from Walt Disney World, but it is not IN Disney World.

However, in the image used to promote Mr. Seinfeld’s show, StubHub used an image of the Town Square Theater, which is just inside the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. Guests visiting the Town Square Theater can’t see Jerry Seinfeld, but they can meet Mickey Mouse.

Hmm, I think StubHub might have the wrong “Walt Disney Theater” photo for Jerry Seinfeld

Commenters thought that the accidental image was a hilarious mishap but also thought that it would be great if it were true. Others shared an image where other performances were promoted with the Town Square Theater image as well, including Harry Potter in Concert, Fiddler on the Roof, Stardew Valley, and Ednita Nazario.

Thankfully, it looks as though StubHub has removed the advertisement, and hopefully, no one was legitimately confused about where Jerry Seinfeld’s show will take place. According to the StubHub website, Mr. Seinfeld will be performing at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando on February 1, 2025.

Would you love to see celebrities perform in Walt Disney World? What do you think of this funny accident? Let us know in the comments!
