2February 28th I had the opportunity to attend the 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Showcase at the Grand Floridian Resort here at Walt Disney World. It was a full day of getting immersed in everything that Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons has to offer. Wedding dresses, cakes, decor, food and a ton of fun with excited brides and some grooms. The Wedding Showcase is put on to show you all the latest and greatest in Disney Fairy Tale Wedding trends and is open to the public but registration for a nominal fee is required.

The Showcase had a large display filled with wedding dresses from the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo Collection. Each dress is inspired by a Disney Princess and an Elsa dress just joined the line-up. Unfortunately all they had to show at the Wedding Showcase of the new Frozen Elsa dress was images.
Disney wedding cakes took up the whole right side of the room and the Disney pastry chefs had plenty of different designs to show off. The most popular cake in the display was the amazing projection cake that projects digital images onto your wedding cake with designs like Disney Princesses and Happily Ever After quotes to choose from.

Included with the Showcase was also samples of different cake flavors.
Throughout the Showcase room Disney Fairy Tale Weddings had elaborate tablescapes to give brides and grooms some ideas of the different types of decor you could pick from.
Transportation options are another big part of a wedding and at Disney you can of course pick something with a Disney touch.
We all know that the Disney Parks can create some wonderful food and Disney’s wedding team is no exception. At the Showcase you could try everything from Darth Vader cupcakes to Enchantee champagne from the popular restaurant “Be Our Guest” at Magic Kingdom. All the different food options available for sampling was specifically chosen to show off new ideas and trends in wedding reception food.
The wonderful Wedding Showcase ended with a presentation and Q and A session with celebrity wedding planner David Tutera. David has worked with the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings a many times before and even designed his own collection of disney wedding dresses once upon a time. His talk was both very informative and personable and he had more than a few Disney bride fans in the audience.
