PHOTOS: New “Figment” #5 comic preview adds color to Disney and Marvel’s final flight of fancy

Following up on our recent black-and-white preview of the final “Figment” comic, Marvel has shared a colorized look at six of its pages plus its final cover.

In this issue, the Dreamcatcher returns in a glorious way, piloted by the Dreamfinder himself.

Dreamfinder, wearing his signature top hat and goggles, poses with Figment the purple dragon from the Disney Figment comics, set against an imaginative steampunk city reminiscent of Epcot’s Journey Into Imagination.

A sharply dressed adventurer pilots a whimsical steampunk airship as it soars into a swirling blue portal, set against a dramatic red sky—capturing the magical spirit of an epic Disney or Marvel attraction experience.

“Dreamfinder, Figment and their new friends Chimera and Fye finally arrive in London… and find it invaded by The Singular and his Clockwork Army,” said Marvel editor and creative director Bill Rosemann. “They may be outnumbered, overpowered and underestimated, but our loveable band of misfits have the one thing needed to face any challenge: imagination!”

A guest soars atop a vibrant red dragon in a dazzling, Disney-inspired fantasy scene; below, another visitor is caught off guard as he unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Figment—the iconic purple dragon from EPCOT—wearing his signature yellow hat, resulting in a whimsical and surprising encounter.

As the sun sets, two guests encounter a lifelike robot and a whimsical pink dragon character resembling Figment from Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion; in other scenes, playful woodland animals interact with the robot in an engaging, family-friendly display.
