A shrunken head with long black hair and decorative beads, just like the talkative heads seen on the Knight Bus in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, hangs inside a vehicle doorway for guests to discover.

More details have been revealed for the soon-to-open Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion unveiling the live entertainment and a few interactive experiences that will be featured within Diagon Alley

Knight Bus

Outside the London waterfront area, the purple Knight Bus contains a shrunken head and the Knight Bus Conductor, both of whom will converse with guests before they head into Diagon Alley.

The iconic Knight Bus, a vibrant purple double-decker, sits next to a striking black fountain in Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando Resort, immersing Harry Potter fans in the magical atmosphere of the Wizarding World.

Live Shows

In Carkitt Market, a side street of the Diagon Alley expansion, two live shows will be featured.

The first will include the telling of two fables from “The Tales of Beedle the Bard”: “The Fountain of Fair Fortune” and “The Tale of the Three Brothers” told via props and puppetry.

The First Brother puppet from Harry Potter stands proudly beside the tale's title and the Diagon Alley logo, all set against a sleek black background, evoking the magical atmosphere of Universal Orlando Resort.

The Second Brother puppet from Harry Potter’s The Tale of the Three Brothers, just like the ones featured in Universal Orlando’s Diagon Alley live show, is displayed dramatically against a black background.

The third brother puppet from Harry Potter’s Tale of the Three Brothers, dressed in a brown cloak, showcased alongside Diagon Alley-themed signage at Universal Orlando.

The second show will be a musical performance by the Singing Sorceress: Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees, featuring jazzy new songs titled by J.K. Rowling herself: “A Cauldron Full Of Hot, Strong Love,” “You Stole My Cauldron But You Can’t Have My Heart” and “You Charmed The Heart Right Out Of Me.”

Interactivity

Gringotts Money Exchange will allow Muggle dollars (real cash) to be swapped for Universal’s new Wizarding Bank Notes – their equivalent of Disney Dollars. These notes will be able to be used within both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village to buy snacks and merchandise.

A Gringotts goblin banker waits behind the counter beneath a grand chandelier, with gleaming gold bars stacked high in the background, capturing the enchanting Diagon Alley experience at Universal Orlando’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Opulent gold-trimmed display shelves, decadent chocolates, and stone-accented walls glow under warm lights, capturing the whimsical spirit of Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands will be in Diagon Alley as well, where wands can be chosen and purchased.

Rumors still point to Universal featuring an interactive wand experience throughout Diagon Alley, but they did not confirm or announce that element today.
