Paramount Animation announces another "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie

I’m ready! Paramount Pictures took to CinemaCon in Las Vegas to announce another animated movie based on Nickelodeon’s iconic children’s character SpongeBob SquarePants.

Paramount Animation announced the second sequel to hit theaters will be titled “It’s A Wonderful Sponge,” which is speculated to be an animated version of the classic film “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

There haven’t been many details released regarding the third “SpongeBob” movie, but Tim Hill, who wrote the first “SpongeBob SquarePants” film, will be on board to both write and direct this new one.
