  1. Disney managed to get rid of a beloved ride with an ear worm theme song and reaplace it with a forgettable ride experience.

Song of the South was racist. Not sure why the MAGA faithful can’t understand that.

      1. Just some guy

The ride was based on Briar Rabbit and all the animals, not the story behind Song of the South. Nothing in the ride was racist. Tiana was just Disney checking their social
        agenda boxes.

You clearly have never seen the film or know the history. When the film first debuted the KKK in the southern states tried to harasss movie theaters and movie goers due to them not liking that a black man had a better father figure to the white boy in the film. Actually watch the film instead of actual racists trying desperately to erase the film from existence!

      3. CrosswalkX

Tianas Bayou Adventure 1927 flood disaster ride was also racist as it took place in the 1920s during the Jim Crow laws, women being treated mans property, segregation and discrimination against African Americans and Native Americans and also black face and stereotype depictions in Felix the cat shorts and the jazz singer 1927 film. It was the alcohol prohibition and mobster men like Al Capone and also silver dollar Sam mobster man of New Orleans and his Cosa Nosa gangsters running gambling and bootleg business. Also 1927 is the Mississippi river flood disaster year. With African American men being treated like slaves and forced to work on the failing levee which the water breached through.

Dude you’re a clown, what part of splash mountain and the dirty of the rabbit, fox, and bear is racist.

        Just stay home

        1. Phil

Hey clown, its the story / movie it was based on. There is a very good reason you cannot find a copy of it anywhere. It was extremely racist.

          1. Antonio

            Like you?

          2. Steve

Except it’s not racist and Disney has no right to say what is. Disney is breaking the law by withholding the movie and will be ordered to release it by Washington.

      5. walt

only in your pea brain. In fact Walt filmed song of the south to feature black actors. Your beloved hollywood elite would not even allow an academy award for James Baskett in his role as Uncle Remus. Its so amusing that you libtards imply that you know so much when in fact you know so little. Here’s an idea come out of your echo chamber. The funny thing is that liberals are the most racist, sexist, elitist but project that onto EVERYONE else because they think everyone thinks the same as they do. THANK GOD the non libtard world is not mentally ill.

      6. Donald

        Nonsense

      7. Steve

No it’s not racist at all. Neither you nor Disney have any right to say what’s racist and Splash Mountain is not closed in the US. There is no such thing as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and never will be. I can confirm as someone with a Time Machine like Doc Brown and was there for both WDW’s 75th in 2046 along with Disneyland’s centennial in 2055. Song of the South is being released to Blu Ray and back to theaters by order of Washington.

      8. Jeffrey Chow

How was it racist? Does that mean “Gone With The Wind” racist?

      9. Who, me?

Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing. The George Floyd ride should be erased.

      10. Phil

        Perfectly said.

      11. westley

Why is it racist because you said it? Don’t go if you dont like it but soate the rest of the world you Marxist philosophy.

    2. Donald

Woke Disney being woke. Until people give them the Bud Light treatment nothing will change.

    3. Frank

      Concur ‼️🎭🤌

  2. Mickeyfan

Exact same ride. Different animals. Love them both

    1. Old Disney

Not even close to being the same ride. Clearly you have never gone on the ride because you would know for a fact how very very very different it is and how it went from a right that people went to Magic Kingdom to go on to nobody can give a crap about going on because nobody really likes Tiana’s Woke Mountain. The truth of the matter is is that they had no confidence in Tiana Ride so they had to take out one ride to put it in because they wouldn’t pay the money to make it her own ride’cause they knew nobody would go on it

  3. FLAVOLS

Amazing how the same ride can turn from amazing to very forgettable overnight.

  4. Nik

Its about the friggin’ trash cans stop crying over that man ride and get over it! Most of you havenent even seen Song of the South. They updated the ride The Princess and the Frog did well in theaters and dollar make sense. You diversity haters are worse than babies! If you hate it so much you can feel free to just NOT GO!

    1. TheObvious

Princess and the Frog flopped and was only made relevant through gorilla marketing decades later to sell Disney to blacks.

    2. Steve

No they didn’t. Splash Mountain is not closed and is alive and well. There is no such thing as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Tiana is banned in the parks like Pete Rose was from baseball. The Princess and the Frog flopped big time in theaters to the point that it resulting in the end of hand drawn animation at Disney which thankfully will be coming back exclusively when I take over and usher in the Make Disney Great Again era along with the release of Song of the South if it hasn’t happened already. Splash Mountain will be there for WDW’s 75th and I can confirm. “What would Walt do?” will decide everything again under my leadership at Disney. I don’t like what a company does, then I take it over and make it great again.

  5. Peggy

I just wish they would have followed the story of princess and the frog. It would have been so awesome having shadowing singing “are you ready ” while going up to the big drop off.

    1. Kathi

I agree, Peggy. There was so much from the movie that would have made the ride 100 times better.

  6. Johnny

Splash mountain was way better my kids even said it. Who cares about the damn song. Bring back Splash Mountain. Disney Stop pleasing the 0.0000000000000000001%.We canceled our platinum passes and started to go to Busch Gardens and Sea World more often. Way better experience.

  7. Rod

The real scam here was that the destroyed good work with average work. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a disappointment because it isn’t as good or creative as Splash Mountain. As a park goer I don’t go to Disney for social commentary, I go for entertainment. If they’re going to meddle with a ride at least make it better, not worse.

  8. Willie

I rode splash Mt it’s last year it was open and I rode Tiana in 2025. It’s Disney’s park and their choice to feature whichever characters they liked. No one was really raving for the former till it was taken down. Disney wanted to distance themselves from the film. Cancel culture isn’t real, it’s all capitalism. If one movie is making more money and gets more attention then that movie gets the attraction. So far Disney hasn’t lost a dime for the replacement so I think it was the right choice.

  9. Sue

People you’re all crazy if you don’t like it don’t freaking go maybe this way than Disney would get the hand if nobody goes to their freaking theme parks and spends the freaking money that you work all day damn year for and give it to Disney crazy people are not like crazy

  10. Firebolt

To many dumb ads covering the screen, can’t even read the darn thing

  11. Kimmy

I’ve ridden it once [last year] and it was just okay. Although the actual ride seemed smoother (and longer) the theming was somewhat ambiguous. (There was no rhyme or reason to the context of the ride).

  12. Paully

Tokyo Disneyland still has the original..
    Thank goodness ..

  13. Amy

I agree with people saying this should’ve stayed with the movie theme. I thought the movie was good fun and was hoping that the ride would be good too. I don’t like riding it like I used to.

  14. Janet Joyce

People should hear what Floyd Norman had to say about the movie and the ride. He says it’s not racist.
