The movie is not raycist except only in the minds of certain people. It’s a live action + cartoon animal combo featuring a kids and a nice black man. Basically it’s a part of history which of course those said same certain people are trying to hide like it never happened

How about the reason that people are trying to fight to keep this movie alive is that Disney was dumb to ban it in the first place because it’s not actually racist?! Duh?! Just release it on DVD already even if it’s a limited edition thing. If the leftists don’t want to buy it and watch it they don’t have to. But many of us want it back as a part of our childhood and better Disney days!

Excellent idea. Even if it’s a limited amount of copies, people will definitely grab them up. The ones who think it’s “r@cist” do not have to. It’s time Disney learn to please ALL their audience. Not keep catering to a part of it and ignore the rest

You’d think Disney would do that if they wanted money

Ikr, sometimes it’s like Disney doesn’t like money considering they don’t care about their audience

Stop trying to keep a good thing buried, Disney. Stop giving in to just half your fanbase and pay attention to what ALL your fans are asking of you. If you had released Song of the South in theaters it would’ve made way more money than Snow “I Don’t Need Your Business” Brown

It definitely would have but a dvd release is the very least they could do to make a lot of us happy. Did you know the VHS tape is worth an arm and a leg? I checked on eBay! Pay attention, Disney! We want this movie back!!

You sure? I saw some tapes that weren’t costly. If it’s sealed, yes it’s worth a lot more to serious collectors and there’s other SotS merch like toys that people are watching as well. I think the era of vhs tapes is pretty much over except for maybe a handful of fanatics. A DVD would sell like crazy

The far left within the movie industry are the main reason why we don’t get nice movies anymore and why movie after movie winds up being a box office failure. Disney puts out “live” action slop and sequel slop full of leftwing agenda, virtue signalling, preachy messages and other nonsense and expects us all to just “consume product”. Then we’re called names when we don’t then sooner or later some random washed up has-been like Tom Hanks come out and tell us to stay away from their products. Meanwhile Disney takes good movies like this and tries to hide it from the world saying, “no no, movie bad!”
We’re downright tired of being treated like garbage. Obviously people are trying to fight for the return of song of the south for a reason and we deserve the opportunity to enjoy it again.
