Wow! That’s great to get a park hopper ticket!! A couple years ago I was at the party & the rain was heavy and cold. Few of us braved the rain, going to trick or treat stations. I have learned to wear crocs, so it doesn’t matter if your feet get wet. My service dog even braved it with no hesitation. We didn’t get any kind of compensation/tickets. I’m surprised that it wasn’t cancelled.
