In less than 12 hours, two violent incidents rocked the Disney Springs shopping, dining, and entertainment district at Walt Disney World Resort. Law enforcement was called to the outdoor lifestyle complex twice, first late into the night on October 24, and again on the morning of October 26.
First Incident on Saturday Night

At 10:38 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about an incident of “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” at the Disney Springs shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. Central Florida law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the scanner report on X (formerly known as Twitter):

It’s unclear how many people were involved in this incident, and the extent of any injuries suffered during the battery is unknown. It’s also unclear if those involved were Walt Disney World Resort cast members or guests.
Second Incident at Disney Springs on Sunday Morning

The second battery call came out of Disney Springs at 10:36 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, just under 12 hours after the incident the night before. Once again, @WDWActiveCrime shared the scanner report on X:

It is once again unclear how many people were involved in this incident, whether anyone was injured, and whether those involved were Disney cast members or guests.
What To Know

Both X posts from @WDWActiveCrime feature Google Maps screenshots that pinpoint the same location at the center of Disney Springs in the Town Center neighborhood. However, these coordinates are often used to track law enforcement responses at Walt Disney World Resort’s outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment district, and do not necessarily represent where either battery call originated.
Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement on the two battery incidents this weekend. More information may become available through published police reports or, if filed, criminal charges.

The My Disney Experience app does not show any disruptions at Disney Springs following the two violent incidents in 12 hours. Walt Disney World Resort guests can proceed with their vacation itineraries as planned, being cautious to follow any instructions from security cast members or law enforcement if they’re in the area.
