I was lucky enough to have seen the original Carousel of Progress at the 1964-65 NY Worlds Fair and it has remained one of my favorite childhood memories. 🖖
You do not want to see the pic of the Progressland Building demolition after the fair was over. Such a futuristic building – with the lost forever show on Fusion power up on the 2nd floor of the building.
Like Song of the South, Disney execs are doing away with our past with destroying the best scenes on COP attraction. Some day they might just kill off My favorite, Uncle Orville. Looking to a future that might not be what they think. At least the past still remains except at Disney.
