I love Star Wars too much, the problem is, since Disney bought it and rewriting everything, you have cut your main audience out. Gen X has been waiting for the REAL episode 7, 8 , and 9. We championed disney at first when they acquired Star Wars. Then to come up with the story they told, I mean it’s watchable and some of it still has the Soul of Star Wars. But where’s Mara Jade, Where’s Jacen and Jaina and Anakin Solo? Where’s Ben Skywalker? Grogu…the most awesome little green dude ever, he was needed in Star Wars. But leaving those key characters out and making characters that are shadows of them, Kylo Ren and Rey. Disappointing for Gen X. Rey with her suprise origin is awesome, but Ben Solo, come on no originality especially with the legends kids. We have a library of novels that became obsolete when Disney seperated them. Disney can fix all of this by opening up the space after Return of the Jedi, bring the kids back in some way and get Gen X and all generations excited for Star Wars again.
Never watched the sequels. They were trash. There’s only six Star Wars. For some there’s only three. Looking forward to watching these new ‘sequels’ fail.
Disney knows that most of their SW spinoffs and movies have been financial flops yet they continue to force more slop on us. The IP is completely dead, only Disney wants to keep it alive. And no normal SW fan wants anything to do with palpatines fake granddaughter
I was born in the 90s and not one tiny bit ashamed to say I never watched Disneys Star Wars. I watched the originals first, then the prequels. While I don’t like the heavy CGI look of the prequels, I enjoy the action of Revenge of the Sith and the events leading up to A New Hope. I do not like the edited versions of the originals. I like the two ewok movies in a way. I never even heard about the release of the sequels when they first came out I don’t think. I read about them online and wasn’t much interested in a female Jedi being in the lead, especially when she’s supposed to be a descendant of the Emperor and I was really turned off when I read they killed off the OG main characters. Later on when I started seeing baby yoda merch showing up in stores I had no idea what movie they were supposed to be coming from but I sure as heck got tired of seeing it everywhere. From what I understand though I think the fad has finally run it’s course. I did hear that the SW movie that came out this year was a massive fail thank goodness. Disney has taken the Star Wars narrative way too far from Lucas’s main Skywalker saga and drained it dry. Anyway just saying Disney has really ruined the franchise for us true Star Wars fans and apparently don’t care about what the fans are asking of them. For most of us it ended after the celebration of the empires defeat in Return of the Jedi. If Disney wants to make fifty more sequels that’s their unhealthy problem but for us we have our favorites and can’t be drawn back in something they took into their greedy hands and destroyed with their agenda and poor writing
Slopsney is my new name for Disney considering they only know how to make live action slop, sloppy sequels and Star Wars slop (Sloppy Wars!) anymore. The magic is gone. Long gone.
And when these fail at the box office someone from Disney will look for some non-existent reason to blame the audience. However, if you want to blame it on Star Wars Fatigue that’s ok because that is a thing thanks to Disney
You’re joking, right ? Nobody does that over a movie. People simply don’t go to the theater for that particular movie. Closing wallets is the number one way to protest a movie
Yes they absolutely do block theaters over a movie. Stopping people from watching is the best way to protest a movie and it has worked many times before. Snow White saw mass protests nationwide.
Unless youre planning on surrounding all the theaters yourself Fred there will be no protesters just no one to show up like they didn’t snow white remake, supergirl, mandalorian and many others. The movies will fail without protesters
Good. It’s about high time at least one of those failing woke movie companies care about us for a change; feel free to boycott Paramount, they won’t need your money. You lefties won’t suffer. But I hear Netflix is and Disney plus is practically begging for subscribers so you guys can enjoy those lol
Idk if star fighters is actually good with heavy action and not boring like mango and temu yoda and delivers everything star wars fans have been asking for it might do fairly well. But I think id rather it not because if it does disbey will get the big head. They’ve already doubled down on it after the majority of the audience has made it quite clear that the franchise is deader than a doornail
I’d rather see Starfighters do better than these unwanted Rey movies considering it has male leads (one of which has drawing power since he has yet to get political again his fanbase) instead of girlbosses out trying to prove the force is female. But I’m one hundred percent positive it will not be a billion dollar sensation. The shills thought the Mando movie would and it sure as heck didn’t. We just have exactly what spider said, Star Wars fatigue
For Disney’s information “Rey” is NOT part of the Skywalker saga. She’s “supposed to be a descendant of a clone of Palpatine”. Nobody considers her a Skywalker. Disney killed off the actual Skywalker, Luke not to mention Leia. So there is no more “Skywalker saga” for the these sequels to revolve around. Disney just enjoys wasting money on “The Message”. This is why AI fanfiction Star Wars on YT is gaining more popularity
The movie’s will definitely fail without Fred’s imaginary protesters. Nobody protested the star wars movie that came out this year just nobody cared enough to go see it. Or they went to go see something else. Sooner or later Disney is bound to figure out that star wars is dead. I know they’re dumb but are they that dumb?

Good one 😅
Darryl
How many times must we teach you that we do not want more star wars?
Spyder
Disney can’t be taught
Spyder

Looking forward to the one for next year. It looks promising.
Harry
You’ll have your pick of seats, dude
Fred
You won’t be watching them due to protesters blocking and surrounding theaters.

You’re joking, right ? Nobody does that over a movie. People simply don’t go to the theater for that particular movie. Closing wallets is the number one way to protest a movie
Bert
Well, Ryan Reynolds is a pretty popular actor. But I do admit, it’s all about the story. We’ll see.
Tony
Correction. Ryan GOSLING. Not the Deadpool actor
Fred

Yes there will be protesters and there were hundreds of thousands of protesters who surrounded theaters and blocked people from seeing Snow White.
Sean
What, Trekkies gonna show up? Their too busy hoping Paramount won’t cancel their Fantasy world.

Paramount is now maga.

Somehow Star Wars just keeps on returning. Oh we don’t want it or watch it but it just keeps right on returning…

Sean
With the change at the top I expect more attention to the story telling.
Tony
Starfighters is a maybe. Three Rey movies is a big NO. Luke is dead, therefore so is Star Wars
Thomas Calandra
I would like to see stories before the Skywalker saga, early years of the Jedi
Mary Dahlia
I want to see Daisy Rey’s story continue. I love anything Star Wars. Please continue the Skywalker saga and restore the New Jedi Order.
Jared
Star wars should follow marvel, marvel ignored everything after endgame, star wars should ignore everything after episode 6, and Start over
