back in the mid 1980’s-1990’s I would go into the Galleria Mall in White Plains, NY just to decompress from my morning job as a school bus driver *Pre-K to High School). Then I worked in that same store as a seasonal & was retained as a permanent cast member. I was devastated when that store closed. Those 3 years were the happiest times of my adult life.
Moved to Orlando, FL and got a job, again, as a cast member & worked in the “World of Disney” store for 2 more years & again those were the busiest but happiest years I’ve ever had in any job.
Disney Stores were & are a little bit of a vacation to Disneyworld or Disneyland for those who can’t afford a visit/vacation to either place.
PLEASE bring the stores back. They are needed so badly now in this time of strife & stress.
