The last time I rode Pirates of the Caribbean, one of the animatronics had it’s hand hanging off. Five days later, I rode it again and it still hadn’t been repaired. The queue to Space Mountain had large areas where paint had peeled off and wood had been gouged out. In the Animal Kingdom there was a large amount of spilled popcorn near Expedition Everest. It to me almost 60 mins to queue and ride. When I came out the popcorn was still there, or some of it was, it was being eaten by birds. The toilets at Disney Springs were vile. There were dirty paper hand towels and toilet paper on the floor and some of the toilets needed “cleaning.” Disney doesn’t care any more and what’s worse they don’t even pretend they do.
This shows that all that matters is the money coming in NOT ANY MONEY GOING OUT how old is this ride and with this cracking you mention could there be LEAD PAINT under this if so THERE IS A HEALTH HAZARD its time to start more upkeep Pau
DISNEY fails to maintain its attractions but has no problem raising its ticket prices to exhorbitant levels! I will not be back! I’ve had enough of their greed!
Think of these rides like any machine in a factory or on a farm. They wear out. Routine maintenance can extend the life of the machine but they will eventually fail at such a fundamental level that they need to be completely replaced. That’s where many Disney rides are at now. They are beyond repair and need replaced. How many machines last this long? The fact that they still function at all is miraculous. They are on borrowed time though and Disney has a massive logistical problem ahead.

All of the problems are lack of maintenance due to laziness. Its like on streets that have pot holes and they dont get repaired.
