Wow. Everything about this sounds horrible to me. I take it there is going to be a whole lot of the lgbt social views added in as well. People in the industry need to show some actual originality, and make a new story, instead of relying on the original story to bolster their retelling of it.
Well at least it’s a new book series and not another lame cashcow prequel, because if it were a whole new (garbage) reboot from Disney, Luke would be gay, Leia would be transgender, and Idris Elba or (*insert famous black actor here*) would play the race-swapped Obi-Wan Kenobi … and I haven’t even mentioned the one-legged, heavily obese Darth Vader, just for “equality” standards…🙄
This is a terrible idea. I was there in the theater in 1977 and I don’t need to have the story retold to me in woke. Just leave it alone. This will put the corps of the franchise through the wood chipper.
