I could be okay with a female voicing Aslan, but the time change has me perplexed. I am way less excited now. I expect many of my favorite elements will change too radically. I guess the fan of the books is not the intended audience. I am glad Nephew is getting a movie in the correct order. I fear it may be the only one I see.

C.S Lewis would be rolling in his grave. I have the complete book box set, I’ve seen the live action probably a hundred times each and own their respective soundtracks. Aslan, Peter and Lucy are my favorite characters. I would’ve paid a fortune to have seen this new version but nooooo she had to go and make it woke so now she won’t get anything from me or any other real Narnia buffs. She made it to satisfy her own desires, not ours. Probably no telling what other characters got gender swapped or race swapped for that matter. It’s a disgrace that’s what it is. I think I’ll pull out those books and read them again.
