If there was ever a time when coming generations needed to understand what the foundations of this country were, it is today. The principles and people that produced this incredible country and our enviable life style need to be placed before new generations. Our successes and failures should serve as guidepost into the future. If the decision to close the Hall of Presidents is made by Disney it will serve to sever one of the last mooring lines to Walt’s vision. This will undoubtably bring the ongoing success of Disney enterprises into question. There is plenty of entertainment in the world today, but not much of it contains the teachings necessary for a fulfilling life. Remember who brought you to the dance!

Walt Disney’s vision in Florida when he purchased 27,000+ acres of land was not so that todays Imagineers would keep destroying the older attractions in the name of making more money and greed. Walt Disney believed in keeping memories alive, not destroying them. Today it is about more cash and greed. There is more than enough room to build these new attractions without destroying the old ones. Stop ruining WDW.
