This is indeed sad news for my friends in Australia. I am guessing that Disney is dropping these locations due to high shipping costs, but if the fans are willing to pay for shipping, they should continue to take their orders. First they took the stores away and now the online shopping. Doesn’t seem fair.
I tend to agree. This is sad. They shouldn’t stop the Disney Store on-line in any country. Not everyone an afford to go to the physical Disney theme parks to get their merch. And, since most of the physical Disney stores are closed, there really isn’t any place that sells specifically Disney merch. Unless Disney reconsiders opening up the physical Disney stores. Maybe that’s why they’re ending some of the on-line purchases. Let’s hope that we do get new physical stores.
