They ruined a perfectly good ride (one of the best in MK) and made this monstrosity, and now they cant even keep it running. I feel bad for the guests, who won’t get to experience the great old ride, and now experience a lesser version of its weak replacement. Hopefully they learn their lesson…but they won’t.
To the people who caved and made all these changes – yes before it also had some troubles but nothing as much as all that has hit the media since the change BUT all you had to do was change a song and these extra costs are possibly a reason these parks are so dammed expensive
So they remove a few pieces that were probably broken so they can start fixing them. It is Halloween season now. They expect elevated crowd levels. They need the rides open to help with crowd and line control. Nov 2 is the heavy emphasis for the Christmas holiday makeover. Better time to close the ride and hop they can fix it in 2 weeks before the holiday rush begins. Sounds like one of their better moves.

Should never have removed Splash Mountain. Tiana’s Brokedown Adventure just not worth it.
