Disney has changed the outfits worn by its princesses and performers at one park with immediate effect.

Whether it’s a classic character like Snow White or a more recent addition to the lineup, such as Moana, princesses at Disney’s theme parks typically wear dresses that look like those seen on screen.

However, these designs have changed slightly over the years. Jasmine is one of the clearest examples. In Aladdin (1992), she wears a turquoise crop top and harem pants that leave her midriff exposed. Disney redesigned her theme park costume in 2016 with long sleeves, a higher neckline, and a full-length top.

The changes can be much bigger than simple tailoring. Jasmine’s park redesign kept her pants but added a floor-length sheer overskirt, alongside a higher neckline, long sleeves, and a full-length top that covered her midriff. Disney has similarly modified costumes for Pocahontas and Mulan over the years, meaning the park versions do not always exactly replicate their animated outfits.

Disney Princess Outfits Changed at One Disney Park

As per DLP Report, Disneyland Paris has rolled out new outfits for its Disney Princess Cavalcade.

These outfits are specifically designed for the colder months, offering the performers more coverage to stay warm. The cavalcade is expected to continue through the winter, despite Paris typically experiencing snow in the latest and earliest parts of the year.

Winter outfits have been deployed on the Disney Princess Cavalcade at Disney Adventure World. The production is expected to run through the colder months.

The Disney Princess Cavalcade debuted at Disney Adventure World – renamed from Walt Disney Studios Park earlier this year – in July 2026.

Running several times daily around Adventure Bay, it stars Rapunzel, Moana, Raya, and Tiana on floats inspired by their respective worlds.

The princesses also leave their floats midway through the route for an interactive sequence with guests. Moana performs movements inspired by traditional Pacific Islands dance, while Raya demonstrates martial arts-inspired choreography.

Disney Adventure World previously introduced new outfits for the princesses at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. Each character now wears what fans call “villager” or adventure-style outfits rather than the iconic gowns most commonly associated with the characters.
