What specifically intended for his magic kingdom style parks to be completely alcohol-free in order to be family friendly, kid-friendly and no drunks stinking of alcohol. The proliferation of bars in the Magic Kingdom is a direct and reprehensible a front to the wishes of Walt Disney and the people who are doing it ought to be ashamed. They do not love Walt Disney’s vision. They love money, period, end of story.
I have no issue with someone having an opinion one way or another on this or any other topic, what my issue is, people like this have some sort of séance in the shower with Walt and all of a sudden they attest to know what he would have wanted.
I am one and done with Beak and Barrell. It’s nothing more than a place to drink alcohol in the park. It’s not unique enough to spend time and neither the food or drinks were great.
I really don’t care what Disney does, I’m an elderly person who only had their first opportunity to visit the parks in 2000. Fortunately it wasn’t too bad then. However with their greed to price out average families and their woke attitude it’s very unlikely I’ll ever return. We find more value and a better time at the Universal parks and will spend our money there. It’s not we couldn’t afford to go to Disney, we choose not to enable their attitude and lack of care for the average family.
