My family and I were lucky enough to get a ride on it last week. All of us fit fine and all of us are larger than average. I had more trouble on Mario kart. The seat was shaped just right to suction to my rear making it very hard to get out of it. Funny and alarming. Lol. As for Fast and the Furious it might be the best ride I’ve ever been on. Cannot wait to ride it again!
A lot of the rides at Epic are this way. For your information buddy, you can be large and not fat. I’m 6″4″ 285 LBS. I’m a big guy with long legs. Reading your post I think you may have mommy issues…..
Most of the rides at Universal Studios are not made for heavier people. They didn’t take that into account unfortunately. So the fact that this new ride is not weight friendly, is not a shocker at all sadly.
Universal alienates itself by making ride vehicles that restrict rider sizes. I’m a powerlifter build and I can’t ride Harry Potter or even the Life of Pets because my shoulders are too broad and thick.
Things were a bit better at their Epic Adventure park and I was able to ride all the rides we attempted. I had thought they learned from their past mistakes.
I live in LA but I guess I can’t ride this new coaster which bums me out because it looks awesome. I’m also an Annual Passholder and get surveyed all the time about gripes and this size thing comes up and I always comment about it.
Hey Universal, if you don’t like the data you get the quit sending the surveys or change your obviously prejudiced design team I mean geez, even WDW’s Tron ride has a car for the muscleheads.

Of course it does!! None of their rides are as thrilling as the ones that Universal has!!
You have to work HARD not to fit onto their rides….let this be a motivator perhaps?
