Police officers had a busy night at Walt Disney World Resort as three violent altercations broke out at multiple theme park and hotel locations between 10:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. on August 3 and August 4. Here’s everything we know about the overnight law enforcement responses at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Just 37 minutes after Disney’s Hollywood Studios closed for the evening, a physical fight broke out at Walt Disney World Resort’s third theme park. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 8/3/26 10:37 PM
🚨: Physical Fight at 📍: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It’s unclear how many people were involved in the physical fight, and whether they were Disney Park guests or cast members. More information may become available if a police report emerges or criminal charges are filed against the aggressors in the altercation.

Local authorities did not say whether the fight occurred inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios or at one of the transportation or parking facilities outside the Central Florida theme park.

A few hours later, local authorities received a call about an incident of “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, which is a short Disney Skyliner gondola ride away from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Once again, @WDWActiveCrime shared the scanner report on social media:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 8/4/26 1:42 AM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The Google Maps screenshot attached to the post pinpoints a location on a road near Disney’s Pop Century Resort, but that doesn’t necessarily reflect the area where the battery incident occurred. Police responses at Walt Disney World Resort are often tracked at general addresses rather than the exact coordinates where emergencies are reported.

It’s unclear how many people were involved in this battery incident at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and whether any serious injuries occurred. More information may emerge if a police report is prepared or criminal charges are filed.

Finally, at 4:34 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to another battery report at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Once again, the location in @WDWActiveCrime’s Google Maps screenshot may not actually reflect where the violent incident occurred:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 8/4/26 4:34 AM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney’s Hollywood Studios
#WaltDisneyWorld #Disney

It’s unclear why those involved in this incident were at Disney’s Hollywood Studios more than six hours after the park closed. They may have been Disney cast members working overnight or guests trespassing on the property.

Neither the Orange County Sheriff’s Office nor Walt Disney World Resort has issued a statement on any of the three violent incidents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Pop Century Resort overnight. Disney rarely issues public comments on law enforcement responses on its properties. Still, more information may become available through court proceedings or public records requests from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The guests involved in all three altercations were likely banned from Walt Disney World Resort, as this is Disney’s typical response to violent incidents on its property. However, it’s impossible to confirm that at this time.

At the time of this article’s publication, the My Disney Experience app showed no disruptions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Pop Century Resort following overnight law enforcement responses. Guests should continue with their vacation itineraries as planned, and expect all attractions, transportation, amenities, restaurants, gift shops, and other resort offerings to operate normally.

In general, guests who encounter a law enforcement or security response at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, hotels, or Disney Springs should follow all instructions from authorities and avoid the affected area. Disney has policies in place to keep everyone safe, protect the privacy of those involved, and reduce the impact of emergency responses on guests’ vacations.
