Late August is not slow. Hundreds of people if not thousands now dont care about the heat and humidity. Theyre here for it. I was at Magic Kingdom for a few hours yesterday from 1030-1230. We were under an extreme heat advisory. When I left, it was 100 with a heat index of 111 or 114. The park was PACKED. You must not be from here. Lol
Heat and humidity make a Disney trip uncomfortable but its the ONLY timeframe available to folks in the park. Lightening lane prices are paid by one time park visitors. Disney took our DAS passes away making us purchase multi-passes even though I have doctors diagnosis reports available. At 77 yerars old we believe Disney hates seniors and the disabled!

Late August is slow because the weather is awful. Who wants to walk around an asphalt park in 100 degree weather and 200% humidity?

200% is not possible though I did experience 100% about 20yrs ago without it raining.
