2026 might be the first year ever to have $2 billion films. Ironic because 2025 was looking poised to break that record with Ne Zha 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash only for the latter to underperform and for Zootopia 2 to narrowly miss it.
I hope Secret Wars goes big. I mean bigger than the normal super hero line up. Somehow, bring in celestial size characters like Arishem, Living Tribunal, Beyonders, Molecule Man, maybe even a mention of The One Above All. Any or all of them would be really cool.
I’m done after Doomsday. It was a good ride, thank you but they can’t keep the writing up. X-men has a CW cast now, based on being trendy rather than grit. Disney won’t take the fans serious, I won’t take them serious. Good luck at the poles.
I wouldn’t consider inde not gritty, but I have no idea who the other xmen cast are. send like they’re trying to find good actors they didn’t have to pay too much, at least until the franchise is proven

It’s proven that people will enjoy a story with meaningful action and emotional resonance, it’s theses big event films with random opponents clashing like action figures being banged together over huge world-shattering stakes for over two hours and having every other film needing to connect to it somehow that’s tiresome.
