I would not be happy to be stuck in a gondola. I would think in nearly every imaginable instance, that could be avoided by shutting it down when the storm is approaching.
I have been on the Skyliner many times, I have not had the misfortune of being stuck during a sudden downpour; I’m finding it hard to believe they just abandon you instead of at least getting everyone already on off safely.
