The problem I have with re-dubs in general is that they fundamentally alter the entire soul and experience of a film. The characters are no longer themselves as originally, and intentionally, envisioned. It becomes literally a different cinematic experience. I’m a huge fan of Japanese film and won’t watched a dubbed version for this reason.
All that aside I have one question. How the hell do they intend to deal with Vader’s voice?? There’s no viable solution to that one.
