Universal United Kingdom Resort is one of the most anticipated theme park projects in the world, with fans waiting to discover which major franchises could eventually call the resort home.

While Universal has yet to confirm any attractions at the UK resort, one legendary British franchise continues to be discussed among fans: James Bond.

As Amazon MGM Studios prepares to relaunch the 007 franchise on the big screen, a James Bond-themed area at Universal United Kingdom Resort could offer fans a completely new way to experience the world of Britain’s most famous spy.

A James Bond World Could Bring MI6 to Life

A potential James Bond area at Universal UK could be built around the locations and technology that have defined the franchise for decades.

Rather than simply recreating famous movie scenes, the land could allow guests to step inside Bond’s world, from entering MI6 headquarters to exploring the gadgets and vehicles created by Q Branch.

An immersive attraction based around the British intelligence agency would fit naturally alongside Universal’s existing theme park lands, which often place guests directly inside the worlds of their favorite franchises.

A James Bond experience could also make use of the franchise’s biggest trademark: spectacular action.

One potential centerpiece could be a live stunt spectacular inspired by the franchise’s famous chase sequences and practical effects.

James Bond has always been known for elaborate action scenes involving cars, aircraft, explosions, and hand-to-hand combat, making it a natural fit for a theme park stunt show.

A headline attraction could also take inspiration from Bond’s most famous vehicles and missions, with a high-speed roller coaster concept such as “License to Thrill” creating an adrenaline-filled experience for guests.

Of course, no James Bond attraction has been officially confirmed for Universal United Kingdom Resort. However, the timing could prove interesting.

The franchise is entering a new era, with Amazon MGM developing a new cinematic reboot following Daniel Craig’s final appearance as 007 in No Time to Die (2021). The next James Bond actor has not yet been announced, but the future of the franchise is already expanding across movies, video games, audio dramas, and potentially theme parks.

Alongside the upcoming reboot, 007 First Light (2026) has introduced a younger version of Bond through a video game starring Patrick Gibson (Dexter: Original Sin), while Young Bond: SilverFin (2026) is bringing teenage Bond back through an audio drama starring Isaac Rouse (The Crown).

Whether Universal United Kingdom Resort eventually welcomes James Bond remains to be seen, but few franchises are better suited to an immersive theme park experience than 007.
