“Free cups of ice water are available at any quick-service location at Walt Disney World.”
Yeah, no. I was at MK yesterday from 11-1230. As I got off the ferry, that was mentioned. Every quick service I went to said no and referred me to a Popcorn stand or a restaurant. When I went to a Popcorn stand they said no. They thought others would give cups of water though and referred me to a drinking fountain to fill a bottle. I got the runaround at every quick service. Disney tries to make themselves look like they serve a humanitarian purpose during times like this but they dont. I guess cast members didn’t get the memo.
When these extreme heat conditions occur, you would think that Disney would drop the price for a bottle of cold water. Almost $5 for water is crazy. Guests health should be a higher concern than making a ridiculous profit on a necessary thing like water.
