Emergency responders were called to reports of a fire on Walt Disney World Resort property on Monday morning. Here’s everything we know about the incident.
Fire on Disney World Property

At 11:33 a.m. on August 17, someone called 911 about a fire at Flamingo Crossings Village in Central Florida. This recently constructed complex is home to several shops and hotels, as well as, most notably, the newest and only official housing for Disney College Program participants and other Walt Disney World Resort cast members. (Disney owns the land, but does not operate the hotels, shops, or residential areas on the property.)
Law enforcement scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

It’s unclear whether the fire actually occurred on the roadway pinpointed in the Google Maps screenshot attached to the post. Across Walt Disney World Resort, emergency responses are often logged at general addresses for theme parks, hotels, and other on-property locations rather than the exact coordinates of the incident.

The extent of the damage or any injuries from the fire is unknown. Walt Disney World Resort has not issued a statement about the emergency response at Flamingo Crossings Village on Monday morning.
