The historic entertainment venue on Main Street, U.S.A., is no longer showing the Sherman Brothers Tribute, So Much That We Share, and has instead returned to showing older Mickey Mouse cartoons.
Main Street Cinema Reopens at Disneyland Park
Main Street Cinema reopened on August 31 after closing alongside the end of Disneyland Resort‘s 70th anniversary celebration. As part of the milestone festivities, the theater was showing So Much That We Share, a tribute to the Sherman Brothers. Robert and Richard Sherman worked with Walt Disney to create some of the most iconic music in the company’s history, including the tune for “it’s a small world.” Before he died in 2024, Richard Sherman wrote a final verse to the song, which was added to the ride as part of the Disneyland70 festivities.
On Monday, Main Street Cinema reopened to guests and returned to showing Mickey Mouse shorts. However, instead of playing cartoons from different eras, the six-screen theater now exclusively shows shorts from the 2013 Mickey Mouse television series.

As visible in a photo shared by WDW News Today on Facebook, the marquee once again reads: “Now Showing Mickey Mouse – Star of the Silver Screen.” A yellow banner beneath features various depictions of Mickey Mouse and text that reads “Now Showing,” “It Was All Started By A Mouse,” and “Chock-Full Of Laughter And Fun!”.
Other banners on the building feature drawings of Mickey Mouse’s face and text reading “Six Separate Screens,” “Six Separate Films,” “Come In and See Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse,” “Comedy! Adventure! Romance! Comedy!,” and “Thrills! Comedy! Pathos! Comedy!”.
Columns on either side of the main entrance to the building are wrapped in posters featuring artwork based on the 2013 animated Mickey Mouse shorts, and read:

The iconic ticket-taker mannequin, Tilly, is in position inside the Main Street Cinema ticket booth, wearing a mask and spooky attire for the Halloween season. Posters for Mickey Mouse cartoons and theme park attractions line the walls, including The Band Concert (1935), Steamboat Willie (1928), Fantasia (1940), Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Mickey’s Philharmagic, and the defunct Mickey Mouse Revue, which preceded Mickey’s Philharmagic at Magic Kingdom Park through 1983 before moving to Tokyo Disneyland, where it performed until 2009.
Despite showing different films, the interior of the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland Park didn’t change much during the multi-week refurbishment. It still features several benches and a center platform where Disney Park guests can stand and watch the cartoons on six different screens.
