    Just have AP lanes and the problems with the lines will be solved pretty well.

    Yes because people are totally idiotic sometimes swerving into a lane that seems clearer. For the sake of 2 minutes.

    Amazing how after decades without them they are suddenly needed, must be a culture shift

    Now people including myself will just slow down before entering the lane, making sure we’re not stuck behind some tourist that needs to ask directions to the parking lot 3 times after paying in cash.
