An electric eye could be added to open the door when approached with trash and then close when out of range thus eliminating the ADA issue
Why even have gold on trash cans? Did 47 suggest gold? It almost looks like you are bowing down to 47!!! Please change gold to yellow, orange, green, and any other color but GOLD!
