Agreed. This won’t likely happen. That would cost millions. The entire ride would have to be redone. The interior isn’t a Star Destroyer, the scenes would all have to be redone, several actors are dead, all new Animatronics, this is a pipe dream.
I doubt that they’re going to change the ride. I think that it’ll be a better idea to create another ride using the original actors (obviously Carrie Fisher and the gentleman that played Darth Vader have passed on). Maybe someone in their family has some recording of them before they passed away that Disney can use to create a new ride.

Make it a clones wars era ride. The guns battles from ship to ship alone.woild sell it. Grievous and Anikan and Obwan. Capt Rex etc.
