Things happen. Wilderness Lodge is about 30 years old. Its still beautiful and one of our family’s favorite resorts. I dont read anything into the building having HVAC issues and water line issues. Things happen. I do know that WDW, DL, and the Cruise Line do a great job of taking care of families when there is an issue.

At the prices people pay for these resorts, I hope Disney is compensating them adequately. Otherwise, it won’t be so magical! Disney trip is usually a well planned trip, and a half day disruption could be a major spoiler. Therefore, compensation should include not only moving to functioning rooms, but momentary compensation as well as complimentary park tickets/ Disney credits for future use.
Are you kidding? Read the fine print when you rent rooms at Disney. They cover themselves for this. They’ll move you but no compensation. Its like the weather that ruins trips. Theyre covered for that too. There are zero guarantees once you get inside the Disney bubble. Sorry.
