Please do, that way the Frozen remake will tank really hard. It needs to tank anyway.

  2. Barbara

Hollywood will just never, ever learn and figure out or really care what the audience wants and doesn’t want. We do not want more of that Rachel Zegler 2.0. Why do you think Supergirl failed? We also do not want anymore of Disney’s screwed up cash grab remakes.

    1. Gonzalez

      She is a ‘bruja’!

    2. Danyel

      Oh shut it Barbara

  3. CoolPool Waters

I can’t get over how dumb Disney is. She’s already proven to be box office p0is0n and their remakes are proving to be p0is0n to. Get a clue! 😮

    1. Sam

Was it really her, or just a bad script and director?

      1. Lynda

I’m going to say it was all three. She was a major part of the backlash with her big mouth but the fact they made her a drunk, looked homeless in that hair and outfit and hated her cousin didn’t help matters. Also eating worm poo was a turn off

        1. Sam

Have no idea about her “big mouth.” Was that on script or her using social media. Curious.

          1. StylinGroove

Social media. Blasting the audience, men mostly, and telling everyone she’s a woke icon. After that, it went downhill from there.

  4. CSF

Go ahead and cast her. Cast Zendaya as Anna, Pedro Pascal as the guy and a CGI white tailed deer as Sven. Cast whoever you want because I’m done with these watery, stinking, 95% CGI “live action” remakes and Disney obviously hates their audience and could care less what we actually want: non-political, original and well written entertainment! Also we are begging for the return of 2D animation! Remember, Disney; we’re the ones with the wallets! Why do you think you’ve lost millions of dollars on junky content no one wanted?!

    Boycotting this for two reasons:

    1. I’m sick to death of remakes. Everyone is! Sure they were extremely popular when Disney started doing them but one right after the other is getting very sickening and the people who did watch a lot of them have wised up to how blah they are. They have no heart, soul, color and are not following what the original movie stood for!

    2. I didn’t go crazy over the first one like everyone else did. I loved the let it go song but I got so tired of seeing their faces and merch plastered in stores everywhere I got rid of the movie and music in an effort to escape it and then we got a sequel and now we’re getting a #@&$ remake!! Wwhhhhhyyyyyyy?????????

    1. Collin

They do the remakes for two reasons, money and “the message” and then we get blasted when we reject it

      1. Gonzalez

Without respect I rejected the message from that bruja!!

        1. Pat

Why do you write that she is a witch?

          1. Lynda

            Because it’s the truth

        2. Pat

          Facts please, Lynda.

          1. StylinGroove

Guess you don’t consider the truth facts enough?

          2. Ellie

It’s all over YouTube, go read it. Why do you think the movie tanked hard, she’s is tox ic! Rachel Zegler destroyed Snow White remake for the same reason!

  6. Teresa Harwick

The only two remakes I was interested in was Lion King and Jungle Book and I will watch them ONLY for the talking animal action and fights. They can’t hold a candle to the original as far as anything else about them goes. The rest of the remakes were an easy pass. I’ve read comments from people who said they didn’t watch any of them, lol. There is literally no point to these because they’re not done right. Even the How to Train your Dragon sucked.

    1. Ginger

Yeah Toothless just didn’t look near as expressive and cute in that remake like in the movies and TV shows. Ditto on Stitch, I couldn’t stand the way he looked when he was first revealed. I’m like, dude where’s the color?! His cartoon self was cute and bright! His CGI self looks like a plush toy that’s been laying in the sun too long. The expressions the characters make are what gives them depth and emotion.

  7. Gonzalez

She’s a ‘bruja’! I’ll never watch anything with her in it!

  8. TeeVee

In reply to golden dux , the best backlash I ever read was that from Snow Brown and now the Oddity lol

  9. Buck

    Remake fatigue is official!!

  10. John

The hate is strong with these commenters.

    1. PortaPowerPal

Good!!!! We’re just sick of remakes ok! You can watch them if you want to but the majority is downright tired of them! Do you not see that Moana is failing and why??

    2. Lynda

We just want original content again is that too difficult for you remake shills to understand?

    3. ForrestBerry

You need to calm down. The first… original…yeah the fact I’m having to write that to Moana now is really dumb… anyway the original Moana was good because it was an original story, colorful and emotional. The remake is garbage because it’s…well, unnecessary. The first movie is only ten years old and the sequel came out only a couple of years ago. Everybody went crazy about Frozen probably because it was original and now it’s about to be part of the remake destruction to, and even it’s not old enough to warrant a remake. If you seriously think all these remakes are nostalgic and wonderful you are definitely part of the problem.

      1. Teresa Harwick

The music from the Moana remake was very good, I’ll give it that. I always liked the Moana music. (Except the grandma in the original had a much better singing voice!) But no, there’s no point to the remake. You’re only redoing an already completely CGI movie to put real people against a CGI background known as a green screen. Dwayne Johnson in a wig is just cringe. He has also lost a lot of fanbase. His movie’s haven’t done that well lately. He may be the voice of Maui but he simply cannot *be* Maui in person. You can’t put a cowboy hat on Tom Hanks and expect him to play Woody in a Toy Story live action.

        1. Cari Sue

Hey if Disney had remade Moana into a cartoon like Mulan, that I would’ve paid to watch!!

    4. Jules

Poor offended John, heaven forbid people express themselves or voice their opinion, you don’t have read our comments much less make your own about ours. The majority audience has spoken! No more remakes!

      1. John

You express your hate very well.

        1. QuarterMaster

I’m pretty sure you are quite capable of expressing it yourself so I suggest you remain silent about what we say. We have freedom of speech to, you know. We will reject or accept movies as we see fit and there’s nothing you can do about it. No one tells us what to watch or not watch. Not the president, not tv hosts, not the directors, not the movie’s cast, not little shills and not even our friends or family members.

          1. Bert

You sound very serious. Freedom of speech for you, but not for anyone with opposing views. “Don’t call my trash talk, trash talk.” Typical red state bs.

          2. Ellie

And weighing in more typical blue state hypocrisy and bs

        2. StylinGroove

So do you john, btw how old are you? Five? Six? You certainly speak like a spoiled child on a high horse who is crying because a bad movie isn’t a box office smash. Or is disney paying you to hate on us? Your whiny pouts aren’t saving the Moana remake, they didn’t save Snow White remake or Supergirl or Mandalorian and Grogu. You can go watch Moana and Frozen remakes ten times if your pocketbook allows it but we don’t have to

          1. John

What in the world are you talking about?

  11. PortaPowerPal

Beauty and the Beast was (, I think) the first movie they destroyed with ‘modernization’ and wokeness. When I heard they shelved tangled when Latino Snow White failed hard I seriously thought Disney actually listened to us for a change and we’d finally get a break from remakes. But I have a feeling they got the bighead again after the lilo and stitch success and now we’re getting…what? Two or three more? Tangled, Hercules and frozen? Oh wait, four. They announced doing a mickey mouse one not long ago. I’ve just had it with Disney’s garbage and I’m done with having to put a year next to it otherwise people wont know which version you’re talking about anymore! They can keep doing remakes but I don’t have to watch them or pretend they exist! The lion King one I can tolerate but no more!

  12. Keep It Real

When are we going to get cartoon remakes of the live action remakes of the cartoons? 🙂

    1. Martin

When Disney is done remaking everything that already exists

  13. Cari Sue

If they had remade Moana into a hand drawn 2D cartoon like the good old days I would’ve watch it!

    1. Ginger

The original Moana should’ve been hand drawn. Disney needs to go back to that, big time!

  14. Jason

We do we get a live action of Zootopia? 😂😂😂😂😂

  15. Ginger

If they cast her that will help tank yet another movie!

  16. chickenfriedsteak

From what I hear the Disney CEO has already blasted the audience for not flocking to the theater for his Moana slop. For his information, we did not ask for a remake to a ten year old movie in the first place. Secondly we did not ask for Rock in a body suit and crazy Auntie wig. Third, excuse us for being tired of remakes because that’s all Disney knows how to do anymore. Trends only last for so long. How about instead of blasting us for not wanting what YOU want, how about giving us what WE want so that we don’t have to fight back? We’re the ones that decide if your content is worth paying for! I always wanted a sequel to Dinosaur and never got one. I would’ve accepted more sequels to cartoon movies like Lion King, Little Mermaid, Brother Bear and Fox and the Hound fifteen years ago but nooooooo had to do away with cartoon movies and make everything 3D and CGI! The magic is gone!

    1. StylinGroove

The magic died right after Walt and his brother did. They certainly wouldn’t be trying to cram all these live action down our throats!

  17. Anti Hollywood

I doubt that will happen but if they do cast this miserable woman it’ll help keep people away from the movie. The more money Disney and Hollyweird loses the better! No one cares about these “stars” anymore.

  18. TheObvious

Disney, just stop. No one wants this crap.

  19. Herman Schwartz

Pick another actress because she is just ugly. Hard to watch her. 😆
