The Incredibles are getting the Grogu treatment? Hard pass. It’s no fun when the children characters do not grow. Especially since it’s been years since the first movie.
Seriously? A third movie and the kids haven’t aged even two years? It’s been twenty two years since the first movie they’d all be adults with jobs and spouses and possibly their own babies by now! Why can’t Disney/Pixar write anything good anymore? Hard pass. I don’t want to see Jack Jack stay in diapers the rest of the franchises’s life!
Sounds like The Incredibles are slowly getting the Toy Story treatment with watery sequels only sounds like the children will remain children forever I guess we’ll never get to see what they look like older and out doing their own superhero stuff , do better Disney!
Well at least it’s not a live action remake but no thanks to dragging on yet another franchise until we get Incredibles 5 where their daughter takes over the IP and her brothers and father are nothing but her
sidelines
This is a terrible decision. Bob and Helen got their powers before they got married, so their powers reflected their future roles. Perhaps Violet could have pivoted into a role like a spy, where her power of invisibility would be useful. Or maybe her powers go haywire when she hits puberty. Instead of something interesting like that, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack will see any growth they have within the movie reverted at the start of the next one.
Comics have done this for decades. One issue to the next may (in time) just be sec/minutes but the next issue its been months later. TV shows jump years in time ,espscially when kids grow, this won’t keep me from seeing it at all.
