I do hope Starfighters is good. I was really hoping Ryan’s character would be force sensitive but watching the Jedi boy’s journey will be good to.
I just hope that by Disney saying this will be different that it’s not “too different” and remains true to the original themes and narratives of Star Wars and we can get back to good old lightsaber battles again.

Please do not let anything happen to mess this up! Disney had a chance to make the mandalorian movie good and they blew it. I want Starfighters to be epic and not toned down, watery and boring.
So far Ryan Gosling has not been a political or woke big mouth so he deserves this chance to rise to the top and possibly make a good Star Wars movie for a change!

      🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

There has not been one decent SW movie since RoTS. I blame Disney for that. The sequels and all these dumb, spinoffs like Ashoka and Mandoverse, false continuations like Maul and Boba Fett and woke junk like Acolyte and Skelton Crew is pure garbage. Disney bringing back human jedi and male leads in Starfighters is a step in the right direction and I’d like to think it’ll be fairly decent

Don’t ruin this, Ryan. So far you’ve been good to us. Don’t give us the middle finger like the other Hollyweirdos have! 🤞🏾

Flynn Gray must be quite a talented lad if he’s already able to hide his native accent for acting purposes. When I first heard he was Irish I was like, how are they going to explain an Irish person in outer space unless he was supposed to come from Earth? I hope his character becomes a full fledged Jedi someday and becomes way more popular than Rey Palpatine!

Considering the massive failure of the last movie I think fans have truly given up at this point and have “bashed by the celebrity” fatigue and “Disney Star Wars” fatigue. So anyone can save next year’s movie it’s Ryan and Flynn. Ryan already has two big wins under his belt, Barbie and Project Hail Mary, appealing to both male and female audiences with his charm and silence on politics

The final nail was the sequels. Disney had to just build another coffin to start putting more nails in

Judging by the comments circling online I don’t think Starfighters will do good. In the first place, Disney Star Wars is deader than a doornail and I don’t believe even gosling can save it. Second, no one gives a ship about the sequels. Third, everyone hates Rey Palpatine and are saying if she’s in it they’re passing it. How many more Star Wars movies are we going to get before Disney figures out no one wants it anymore?

It all depends on the story.

If it does good I’ll be glad for Ryan. If it fails, and it probably will, I hope it’ll finally prove to Disney that no one cares anymore and the franchise cannot and will never be saved. Not under Disney’s leadership.
